Practical Test Day Package
At Hendon or Mill Hill test centres.

Intensive Driving Lessons
A paid two-hour driving lesson used to assess your current driving and goals. We then recommend a suitable number of hours and schedule; further lessons and their cost are agreed separately.

Pass Plus
A nationally recognised DVSA post-test course to build driving experience after passing the practical test.
- Six modules: town, all-weather, rural, night, dual carriageway and motorway driving
- Instructor provides a signed training report when the required standard is reached; you then apply to DVSA for your Pass Plus certificate
- May qualify for an insurance discount, depending on the insurer
Payment and cancellation information
Payments
Pay As You Go lessons paid by bank transfer must be paid at least 48 hours before the scheduled lesson. For cash payments, a £90 booking deposit (one standard two-hour lesson) is held as credit towards your final lesson; the current lesson is paid separately. Block bookings are paid in full in advance, then agreed dates and times are reserved subject to availability.
Cancellations
Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or rearrange a lesson. If you give less notice and we cannot fill your reserved time, a reasonable cancellation charge may apply, up to the price of the booked lesson. Leadway's 48-hour notice request is separate from DVSA's own deadline for changing or cancelling a practical test.
Test-day bookings
If your test is moved or cancelled, please tell us as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the reserved session, so we can review your reserved car-hire session. Any charge for time or services already provided will be discussed with you. Leadway's car-hire arrangement and DVSA's separate test booking rules are distinct.
